How to setup xray, cloak, amnezia wg or any other detection secure tunnel

Hi Guys, that's a question more for the community

I have GL-AX1800 (Flint) and GL-A1300 (Slate Plus) routers.
In my country traffic for such protocols as WireGuard or OpenVpn is blocked.
So I need a kind of the more sophisticated solution like xray, cloak, amnezia wg or any other that is able to obfuscate traffic.

I tried to use xray-core package that is available in opkg list, but was not able to setup tunnel, probably due to that package is 2 years old and my lack of knowledge.

So guys, if you have a real working solution to set up detection secure tunnel for Gl inet routers please share it.

Hi,

  1. Regarding whether the tunnel protocol is available locally the country or some area, can only deploy the server and client to try it. You mentioned above those protocols are advanced encrypt, probably still can be usable.

  2. Regarding openwrt packages, probably Google or GitHub to find the package that corresponds your router architecture, and manual install to the system. These tunnel software, GL may not be updated timely. But you can still propose what you need of updating plugins, we will try to update.

@bruce Do we have any updates on amnezia wg ? I'm trying to set up this protocol on GL.Inet router but looks like it does not support it :frowning: Do you have plans to do it or I should move with another routers which support it?

Hi, GL did not consider developing this feature for the time being.
Please go to the developer repository and install the required packages according to your device architecture.
