How to update firmware of EG25-G?

Hi, my Puli has the built-in Quectel EG25-G modem. According to the AT command "AT+QGMR" it has quite an aged firmware:

EG25GGBR07A08M2G_01.001.01.001

Is there an easy step by step manual on how to upgrade the firmware of the modem?

Hoping to overcome the issues with my Telekom Germany SIM, which refuses to register with the network. I will answer myself and in case someone else is looking for this. The general upgrade process for the modem firmware is described here - also for my Puli (XE-300):

But there is no link for a EG25-G modem. You will need to search https://forums.quectel.com/ and ask one of the admin over there to send you a link for the latest stable firmware.

With all these information I was able to successfully upgrade my modem.
