I am unable to connect my flint 2 via PPPoE

Hello,

I got flint 2 recently, and I tried to connect PPPoE however, it does not work.

Specs:

  1. Network Setup: ONT that provides ethernet cable, and the ONT is connected to a fiber cable.
  2. router model: flint 2 MT6000.
  3. from the box firmware version : 4.6.4

in order to have PPPoE connect I found that I need:

  1. username/password PPPoE.
  2. maybe a VLAN id.
  3. maybe I need to try enabling ipv6 and check.
  4. maybe changing the router MAC address to the same ISP router MAC address (I don't know how I can do this).

I have received the username, password and VLAN id from my provider.

When I attempt to connect I receive this error:

Timeout waiting for PADS packets
Unable to complete PPPoE Discovery
Exit.
Plugin rp-pppoe.so loaded.
RP-PPPoE plugin version 3.8p compiled against pppd 2.4.8
pppd 2.4.8 started by root, uid 0

When I enabled IPv6 NAT6 the logs changed however, after I tried changing the IPv6 from NAT6 to Native the previous log returned back.

I am aware of someone in the forum from June that had the same problem and they solved it by changing some stuff in the advanced settings.

  1. When there was no Flint2 before, what was your main router (using PPPoE), find its MAC, and clone it to Flint2 Ethernet

  2. Please make sure that the PPPoE information you filled in the Flint2 WebUI is correct, share screenshots.
