I can't access admin page

I changed my BerylAZ router name and password yesterday from the factory default to match my home network name.

Today I wanted to tweak some router settings but can no longer access the admin page using the http://192.168.8.1 address.

I've read similar issues, but don't understand the fixes. Can someone explain how to access my admin in a language for ummies style? I'm not totally naive about networking, but this is beyond my knowledge.

Additional details: I'm running/configured with VPN via Wiregaurd protocol and have adgaur running. I also enabled guest networks.

Is it the correct IP?

Try https:// instead of http as well.

From what device do you try to connect?
Android/iOS devices dies not use a route without Internet, I've if the device shows connected.
In my case it helps to deactivate 'mobile data' until the router got internet.
Or plug a cable from ISP connected LAN to WAN at the router, if the Subnet is different. When both are 192.168.8.0/24 it won't work.

I solved it. I’m an idiot. Was trying to access admin page from the guest network. All good. Thanks for the help.
