I need help please, Wireguard Client

I work from home, but this morning I couldn’t connect to my router.
I have two routers—one at my friend’s house and one at my home in Mexico, since I work remotely.
Today, I wasn’t able to connect, and this is the error it gave me
Tue Jun 24 21:35:07 2025 user.notice firewall: Reloading firewall due to ifup of wgclient (wgclient)

So my VPN dashboard is green and its connected so I dont believe the issue is with portfowarding
Can someone please assist

Hello,
You can try the following troubleshooting steps

  1. Restart your main router in Mexico, your friend's router, and your own terminal device (computer/mobile phone). A simple restart can often solve temporary network cache or connection anomalies.
Disconnect WireGuard and try to connect directly to the router of your home/friend's home to test whether you can access the Internet normally (such as browsing the web, pinging the public IP), and eliminate the fault of the local network itself

  2. Confirm whether the firewall rules intercept WireGuard traffic, and temporarily turn off the firewall test if necessary (restore it in time after the test)

  3. Use the mobile phone to open the hotspot, let the router connect to the mobile phone hotspot and then connect to WireGuard to eliminate the local network's restrictions on VPN traffic.
