Hi, for some reason my GL-AR300M16 (Nor) does not show its menu anymore and starts only Luci. So I want to re-image the unit. Can anyone send me a link to the download of the .img because it states on the firmware support page download for OpenWRT and Uboot, but I cannot find the img anywhere.

admon tnx, but this only downloads the bin file of openWRT. I do not get the image to use with Uboot.
If you can still get into luci, flashing using the bin is fine.
Just flash it using luci.
admon, I did just that but then when connecting to 192.168.8.1 the whole menu structure of the unit does not show but only Luci starts and asks for login. The setting are still there including the wireless settings and passwords and I can still access them trough the Gli app, but not from PC
Sounds more like a browser caching issue for me.
Can you try incognito browser tab for example?
Admon. Holy Toledo !!, this being the issue, I was so focussed on the unit itself that I did not think of it at all. I cleaned everything and loaded another browser as well. this works !!!
