Internet connection drops constantly and during upload speedtest

I have a fresh out of the box GL-AXT1800 SLATE and when i do a speedtest.net test during the upload par the internet connection always drops, the led flashes lan > wan pings stop and it takes about 30s to recover. It also happens randomly when not doing speedtests (but there are other devices on network i.e IoT doing uploads etc). My line is 70/20 so it's not speeds that is killing it, anyone else had this problem?

To be clear it's only this device that is effected i.e my old netgear works fine as does a BERYL device it only happens with the SLATE.

Looking at logs it drops the eth0 interface (wan) when it happens

Hi,

Please try these following methods to check:

  1. Change another network cable?
  2. Use the attached power supplier, or change other one supplier 5V ≥3A if you already tested the attached supplier.
  3. If you learned SSH, please try to switch the Eth1 work as WAN mode, to check if the Eth1 work ok, execute one by one:
uci add_list network.@device[0].ports='eth0'
uci del_list network.@device[0].ports='eth1'
uci set network.wan.device='eth1'
uci commit
/etc/init.d/network reload

Hi had already tried another cable but not the PSU as used the one supplied but tried a different one and no longer see the issue so seems i've got a faulty PSU.
