Do you know if this will support SIM wan aggregation and whether it will be powered by USB -C ?

It will not be powered by USB-C but standard 12V DC input. I think it will support SIM WAN aggregation via our AstroWarp service.

Signed up! I have the spitz and it's great.

Pretty cool. Will be test in UK and test between 2 routers.

Been waiting for an upgrade for a while… Will pricing be closer to that of spitz compared to spitz ax?

@panpan What price can we expect when this device is released?
Someone asked this before, but I would like to expand on it.
Why wouldn't you want to use USB-C in your mobile device? There are plenty of cheap and convenient power banks and chargers offering USB-C with voltage levels of 12V and 20V that would be able to power this device at 3A.
What's also cool is that plugs are standardized and you don't need to have one special power supply. USB-C adapters are not a great solution either. Regardless, it's going to be a really cool device, I can't wait to get it if it's priced right.

Signed up for beta tester! I already have Puli AX, and I love it, I hope this will be close to it!
Will this new Spitx Plus have eSim capability?

  1. What price can we expect when this device is released? ---> TBC. But it will be much cheaper than Spitz AX.
  2. Why wouldn't you want to use USB-C in your mobile device? -->For price concern mostly. This product should be a budget-friendly choice. Because a device has a USB-C power input does not automatically mean it supports USB-C Power Delivery (PD), but many users might think USB-C power input equals to USB-C PD.
  3. Will this new Spitz Plus have eSim capability? --> It will support eSIM.

May I know what modem will it use? Is it Quectel EM06 or something similar? Thanks! Signed up with the test also.

On thier website it says EM12

I see. I thought it was Cat6, makes sense. EM12 is a good choice too

Signed up for beta testing

Wondering if it will be gigabit ethernet instead of fast ethernet on spitz

Also will it be a wifi 6 or wifi 5 router?

It's wifi6.

Signed up as well to compare against my ZTE mc888

The modules are EG120K-NA and EG120K-EA. We just updated the module info on the product page.

At first I was very concerned about the lack of USB-C at the Spitz AX (X3000), too. But after installing it in my RV, I think the regular around 12V is a good alternative to the more complex USB-C.
For traveling without RV, there is no difference between the Power Supplies. I would not attach a 3A device to my laptop.

For reference: Spitz AX - Install in a RV

I hope the Spitz Plus will be a great budget alternative, like the Slate Plus to the Slate AX.
