iPhone constantly disconnecting WISP mode

I’ve used my mt300a to connect to several wifi networks in wisp repeater mode without a problem.

For some reason though, it gives me problems consistently at one location. It connects reliably to the main wifi router, but my iPhone connection consistently drops out after a few minutes. If I manually tell it to connect it tries and then drops instantly. Sometimes it prompts for for the WPA password too.

My log says this:

I’m suspicious of this line in particular:

Tue Jan 24 12:18:36 2017 daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA {MAC ADDRESS} IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to inactivity (timer DEAUTH/REMOVE)

Any ideas?

Thank you

deauthenticated due to inactivity (timer DEAUTH/REMOVE) could be the problem, but not it is not clear the reason.

Do you mean that you don’t have any problem with other locations?

So in this particular location, can you give the information about: ssid, encryption, and channel? Channel can be detected using the router or an mobile apps. In the router, use the following command to scan and get the information.

iwinfo phy0 scan
