Is B3000 going to be around a while?

Is the GL.iNet GL-B3000 going to be manufactured for years to come or short lived?
I no longer see the GL.iNet MT1300 on Amazon, is it now phased out?

I'm asking because it takes a lot of work to build my firmware for the different devices so don't want to use devices that won't be available for long as that would be a waste of time if I can't get them for long.

Hi,

The B3000 is still available for purchase.

Regarding firmware maintenance, please rest assured that even if the device is discontinued in the future, we will continue to provide maintenance support for at least two years.

As for the MT1300, it is no longer available for individual purchases in the 2C market. For the 2B market, we only accept bulk orders. For more details, you may contact our customer service via [email protected].

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by 'still'? I've never seen it until just the other day but this does not say if it will be around for some time or not.

Also, I don't use gl.inet firmware, only openwrt and if it's not going to be around for at least years, then I'll have to use tp-link or something else. I can only use devices that will be around for a while otherwise, supporting them becomes too costly.
