Is Flint 3 (GL-BE9300) compatible with Omni Fiber ONT (WAN DHCP + 802.1p/VLAN 0)?

This is a pre-purchase check. I am new to fiber!

ISP/Setup: Omni Fiber (residential). I’d like to connect ONT > Flint 3 WAN directly (no ISP router).
What ISP says: WAN should be DHCP; if it won’t lease, they require 802.1p priority tagging with VLAN ID 0 on the WAN and I will need my WAN MAC registered.

Questions (before I buy the Flint 3 / GL-BE9300):

  1. Can the Flint 3 set 802.1p (PCP) with VLAN ID 0 on the WAN interface?

  2. Is there a GUI path to do this (GL.iNet UI or LuCI), or does it require CLI/UCI?

  3. Has anyone actually run a Flint 3 directly on an Omni Fiber ONT and confirmed a DHCP lease with VLAN-0/PCP enabled?

  4. If it works, which PCP value did you use? Any screenshots or config snippets welcome.

  5. Any gotchas with flow offload/hardware NAT at 1–2.5 Gbps while using VLAN-0/PCP?

Why I’m asking: I want to confirm compatibility and ease of setup before purchasing. If VLAN-0/PCP on WAN isn’t supported or is fragile, I’ll consider alternatives.

Thanks for any concrete confirmations or step-by-steps!

Hi,

I think BE9300 can satisfy it.

  1. WAN support to set VLAN ID.

  2. Can be operated in the GL GUI.

  3. I think no problem with just talking about access from LAN->WAN.
