Hello
Yes, that's what I'm trying. And it seems like Wireguard is the most convenient (unless someone suggests another way), and I've been trying the openwrt configuration for wireguard that you can find in their website (and others) and still I can't get it.
Is it possible that the gl-inet firmware version of this router (axt1800) doesn't allow that? if yes, how is that setup?
Thanks
The GL firmware supports that, see Build your own WireGuard Home Server with two GL.iNet Routers - GL.iNet Router Docs 4 and Block No-VPN Traffic - GL.iNet Router Docs 4
At the end you just need to add AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0,::/0
inside Peer
, see How to troubleshoot WireGuard
Right, I am connecting a router with an ubuntu remote server. I can establish the connection between the two peers, I can see transmission data with wg show but as soon as it is connected I don't get to the internet. I toggle on Block Non-VPN Traffic in the VPN dashboard section but it seems like it doesn't route the traffic from the LAN. What can be wrong?
You should check the Ubuntu server then. And make sure the networks dont overlap.
I GOT IT!!
I only needed to forward the traffic in the server from the wireguard interface to the ethernet interface to go out.
Damn, it's been some days to do it, and it is not actually that difficult.
Happy
Thank you very much!!
