Hi GL.iNet Team and Community,
I am a user of the Beryl 7 (GL-MT3600BE) Wi-Fi 7 pocket router. I’ve noticed that the new firmware version 4.11.0 has brought many exciting core features, especially the new SQM Cake queue (with Cake Autorate), Wi-Fi 7 driver optimizations, and native 802.1Q VLAN support.
I checked the official download center but couldn't locate a 4.11.x build under the Testing or Beta tabs for the MT3600BE yet.
Could you please let me know if there is an active 4.11 Testing/Snapshot firmware available for this model? If so, could you share the download link or let us know the rough timeline for when the MT3600BE will join the 4.11 upgrade cycle?
Thank you so much for your help and continuous support!
Best regards,
[HEIJIN]
Hi,
Thanks for your interest! There is currently no v4.11 beta available for Beryl 7 (GL-MT3600BE).
Our current tentative plan is to release the beta in mid-to-late November, followed by the stable release around early January. These are estimated timeframes and may change depending on testing progress.
Hello
For this router GL-MT3600BE (Beryl 7)
My question is for the technicians.
Could you add an AUTO option under Network Acceleration in the next update? At the moment, it only has the Hardware Acceleration option.
In my case, setting it to AUTO makes the internet faster.
Would it also be possible for Wi-Fi
5 GHz and 4 GHz to support connecting older devices, as in previous GL.iNet versions such as the 3000AX
These older devices do connect via MLO, but it would be good to have the 5 GHz and 4 GHz option as well.
In my case, I like to know which band my devices are connected to.
Thank you
