Issues with AdGuard on Flint2

Good morning, I have a problem with my Flint2 and AdGuard. Basically, I applied several blacklists to limit spam and ads. However, in the AdGuard log, several blocks appear, but all coming from the IP ‘127.0.0.1 localhost’ and not from the specific clients I have at home, making it impossible for me to understand which device the individual request comes from. Moreover, I tried to activate filters on a single client, but they are not applied, and I don’t know if the two problems are related.

Who can help me?

To solve this you will need to enable AdGuard Home Handle Client Requests within the settings:

Please understand that this will disable the functionality to use VPN Domain Policies.

Hello,
Could you explain what is it impacting on the VPN?
I use WireGuard server and OpenVPN server on the router.

Server isn't relevant, only the client-mode will be affected.
If AdGuard Home Handle Client Requests is enabled, the VPN policy for "based on domain" won't work.

Ok, but, sorry, my English isn't good enough to understand this:

...the VPN policy for "based on domain" ...

It's a VPN proxy mode, see VPN Dashboard - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

In my case, this setting is already enabled! Moreover, while searching this forum, I found an old discussion where this issue was mentioned, and it was suggested to create a firewall rule to bypass it. I already have this rule too! So I really don’t know where the error could be.

Did you updated adguard home? Could be problem firewall syntax

I haven't done any of that, I've had the router for a month, and I've only activated AdGuard. I don't even know how to update it.

I solved the problem by going into the router settings and deleting two ‘unnamed’ rules that were acting on port 53, the same as AdGuard. These are rules I didn’t create manually, but are probably related to the installation of AdGuard itself.
