Issues with getting the router to even let me in the admin panel

How do I setup my GL.inet GL-A1300 VPN Router via Wi-Fi when it won't even connect to my PC? I’m trying to get it to where I can use it on my PS4 and eventually a Xbox Series S or X depends on where I can find an affordable one of either of the Series consoles for when I’m doing jobs that involve leveling up camo grinding or battle pass boosting a person’s account and getting paid for doing so, but for some reason no matter what I do, it seems to not be able to even let me set it up using my PC to connect to the admin panel. I’ve tried to follow the video on the gl inet website, but it just keeps saying unknown error occurred even after I restarted my PC, the router, and refreshed the page. Anyone know what I could do to fix the issues I’m running into?

First:

How does the pc connect to the router, wireless or via lan?

Second:

I think you want to use the router with the repeater modus, and use the travel router to connect to an existing wireless network?

If so, well it is normal that when it connects to an existing wireless access point the wireless connection drops, after that it should be connected it has to do with the driver changing from its own AP mode to non, rest assured that you will be able to connect to it after this occurrence if not you need to check the logs maybe the travel router is too far away.

Third:

If GL-iNets vpn software is involved, make sure inside the vpn dashboard, you need to click the settings wheel icon and then enable allow access to lan ( I doubt this is the case, masquarading is active, but I cannot be sure about gl kill switch which controls access with this option ).

If the vpn dashboard is newer which has the option to policy route more vpn clients make sure the enhanced kill switch keeps checked, read their placed text carefully, not reading this may mislead you to disable it and of course (with my own intuition when I not readed, I also failed with this  ).

P.s avoid any vpn software on pc, if they silenty use vpn you may not connect to the router because the softwares kill switch on your pc blocks it, on mobile phones this is extremely common I see people having issues with that.

My dad helped me figure it out.
