I'm not sure if this helps but I was on 4.7.0 and I received "invalid token" when trying to use a Windscribe account, maybe it's related to the 4.7.0 firmware. I upgraded to 4.7.4 beta and it fixed my issue.
But also check that your username / password credentials are not different to your master login. Some providers have a username / password to login and a different one for the VPN configs...
You could also just use the custom option and manually import a config to see if that at least connects / works.
