Could you please clarify your device model and firmware version?
Starting from firmware v4.8, Samba encryption should already be enabled by default.
Mudi v2, Spitz v2, Beryl AX: 4.7, 4.3, 4.7
As mentioned earlier, we introduced this change starting from the v4.8 firmware.
Therefore, you may want to
- consider upgrading your device to a v4.8-based firmware version for out-of-the-box support,
- or alternatively SSH into the router and manually adjust the settings as you mentioned previously.
