KVM = Mouse does not work from controlling side

I am able to see the monitor screen now from the controlled computer, but still have trouble to activate the mouse or keyboard of the controlled side.
I appreciate the help from Chuck but still cannot get it to work.
I am using an USB keyboard and an USB mouse on the controlled computer side and use a HP Notebook on the controlling side.
The notebook has a touchscreen and a touchpad. I am usually use a wireless mouse to work with it.
None of the features work with the KVM.

Now it works. Slow but, it does. No Idea what I did. But anyway: Thank you all the great help.

Do you happen to have multiple displays on the server side?

I just duplicated the displays. But just the regular win settings.

What firmware version are you using?

I would try by disconnecting your duplicate display completely and just stick to a single display on your server PC to begin with to see if this would work.

Try a different USB cable between the RM1 and the computer for keyboard and mouse.

I had a similar problem. The cables included for keyboard and mouse on my RM1 units were 1 USB-C to USB-C and 1 USB-A to USB-C. I used the USB-A to USB-C for power, but my computers were older and didn't have a USB-C input for keyboard and mouse, so I had to supply my own second USB-A to USB-C.

Some USB-A to USB-C cables that come for charging devices are power only and one of them I pulled out of my box of spares didn't work because of that, so I had to replace it with a standard, fully wired cable.

Can you try the older 1.1.1 version? Release v1.1.1 release1 · gl-inet/glkvm · GitHub

I am not sure what you mean. I do have one physical monitor.
How do I disconnect y duplicate display?

Ups. I need to check the documentation and let you know.
Firmware is: V1.3.0 release 1

My Desktop also does not provide USB-C>
I checked my cable USB A to C. It works as a data cable.
Good hint, but it is still not working.

Sorry but I thought that you had duplicate physical displays rather than a single monitor+ KVM.

Please try the upcoming version 1.3.1, which fixes some keyboard and mouse compatibility issues

If you still keep encountering the problem of not being able to control your keyboard and mouse, try the following solutions

Disguised as a Corsair keyboard

run below command in webterminal

tee /etc/kvmd/override.yaml >/dev/null <<'EOF'
otg:
  manufacturer: Corsair
  product: 'Corsair Gaming RGB '
  product_id: 26995
  serial: ''
  vendor_id: 26944
EOF

And then reboot comet. See if it can work , these line disguise comet as a Corsair device
