Gl.inet AXT-1800 travel router (firmware version 4.6.11)
Dell XPS 13 w/ Linux
Android OnePlus 6T
My travel router is connected to ProtonVPN using a Wireguard configuration file. The router is connected to the modem using an ethernet cable.
Both my laptop and my phone are connected to the router, but only the laptop is able to connect to the internet. On my Android, it simply reads "No Internet".
I'm able to connect to the router admin page from both the laptop and the phone.
When I go into settings on my Android and do a search for "DNS", the only search result I get is for Private DNS. The only options for that are "Off", "Automatic", and "Private DNS provider hostname".
I can't reach Google.com using either method. If I type the IP address into Brave browser, it resolves to Google.com. After resolving to Google.com, it displays a message reading:
This site can't be reached
www.google.com's DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem.
