I have a Samsung S23 Ultra and it is known for issues with Wifi 6. It keeps disconnecting. Some solutions are to disable Wifi 6. I have no idea if this is even possible on this router? But if so, I was wondering if there’s any way to force only my S23 ultra to use Wifi 5?
Hi,
you can change the Wi-Fi band and bandwidth in the Wi-Fi GUI.
So you can just change it to something “not Wi-Fi 6 like”
Wi-Fi Standard | Frequency Band | Maximum Speed | Channel Bandwidth |
---|---|---|---|
802.11a | 5 GHz | Up to 54 Mbps | 20 MHz |
802.11b | 2.4 GHz | Up to 11 Mbps | 20 MHz |
802.11g | 2.4 GHz | Up to 54 Mbps | 20 MHz |
802.11n (Wi-Fi 4) | 2.4/5 GHz | Up to 600 Mbps | 20 MHz, 40 MHz |
802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) | 5 GHz | Up to 3466 Mbps | 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 80 MHz, 160 MHz |
802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) | 2.4/5 GHz | Higher efficiency | 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 80 MHz, 160 MHz |

But no, not for just 1 device.
