Leakage is by Chrome and Firefox browser, and is there because you access their website.

Dangerous website this www.mon-ip.com ??? Starts things with the browser. Consider using a "sandbox" for your browser.
Using my provider's VPN app, it hides my local IP well. I thought the router in VPN mode could do it too.
VPN or not doesn't matter. Your browser is answering on that webpage script requesting what your local IP address is. They could collect other things from your device as well, actually all the info the browser can collect and webRTC is used to collect, that information passes through the used VPN as one connected to that webserver.
Understood, Thanks for the repliesđ
Anyway, by going through the VPN application, the local IP is well hidden. But not with the router in VPN.
