Been following the Beryl AX MT-3000 for months and was going to purchase during Prime Day sale, but after looking at all the connection (and stability of connection) problems mentioned here; I am wondering what is the best travel router for someone who doesn’t want to spend days troubleshooting connectivity problems.. is there a set and forget type of router for the traveler or should I just wait for the bugs to be worked out? I would also use as an AP at home to extend my MOCA network.. thanks in advance for any advice!!
I don't want to burst the party, but there is no travel router which is "set up and forget". There might be some which are less troub-ly, but all in all it's a game of luck.
That's because Wi-Fi is different in different countries and with different devices.
Spoken for myself, I never had issues with any travel router so far, but I am able to use advanced OpenWrt "skills" to connect anyway, so this isn't a real experience from some customer.

The forum is supposed to discuss problems so you will find problems everywhere.
It does not mean everyone will have problems.
In the computer world there is not 100% promises.
