Looking for help

I have a Flint 2 router with an Arris Surfboard S33 modem. I try to connect to the Flint's wifi on my phone, but it says it cannot connect.

My Xfinity app shows the modem is active, Ethernet cord is in the WAN port of the Flint 2 and the 2.5GE port of the Arris. My Flint 2 is model GL-MT6000.

The directions seems to suggest to put the SSID of the Flint in the password Field. But it is not connecting when it has been inputted.

I can see the wifi name of the Flint when my phone scans and it gets saved, but can't connect. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

I have a Flint 2 and an Arris s33. My Xfinity says the modem is active, but I can't get my phone to connect to my router wifi. It comes up when I scan, I put the password which is the SSID during setup and it doesn't connect. It gets saved as an Internet option though. Does anyone have any ideas on how the setup process works?

Thank you!

Clearly this is wrong.

SSID is SSID
Password is password.

They are two different things

It says to put in a password, but I haven't created a password yet.

Check the label under your device.
The SSID is there and the password (key) is also there.

I was able to get in the admin panel, but it continuously says connecting to ethernet1. The Ethernet cord is in the 2.5GE port of my Arris and the WAN port of my Flint 2. What do you suggest in order to get it to connect?

Thank you.

I was able to set it up. Thank you!
