Loss of Ethernet connectivity on Flint2

Devices connected by cable to one of my Flint2 routers (fw 4.8.3) have suddenly lost network access (pinging the router returns a time out message). No configuration changes were made on either the router or the connected devices. I can connect to the Flint2 remotely, via GoodCloud or WireGuard VPN. I don’t use the router’s Wifi interfaces.

Connected devices report the correct LAN addresses and gateway address, arp returns the router's correct MAC address, and the device network interfaces are shown as being up, at 1 Gbps. The Flint 2 GUI shows the devices as online, but no traffic is reported.

  • Restarting the router and the network devices has made no difference.
  • Trying different LAN ports and network cables has made no difference.
  • Disabling Flint2 features (AdGuard, hardware acceleration, etc.) has made no difference.
  • Disabling the firewall on the network devices has made no difference.

The System log with AdGuard enabled reports:
user.notice AdGuardHome[20167]: 2026/02/16 18:49:10.890652 [error] dnsproxy: responding request proto=udp err="writing message: write udp [::]:3053->192.168.44.22:64604: sendmsg: required key not available"

The System log without AdGuard enabled reports:
daemon.err dnsmasq[21750]: failed to send packet: No error information

My networking knowledge is limited, and I don't know what else to try. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi

It sounds like the br-lan interface may have become unresponsive for some reason.

Since access via GoodCloud is still working, could you follow the guide below to share the device with us and notify us when the issue occurs again so we can check it?
Technical Support via GoodCloud - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

Note also send us the device’s MAC address and the admin panel password via private message so we can access it.
