Mango mt300n-V2 won't connect to VPN server on PIA

Hi,

I have been using Mango gl-mt300n-v2, firmware version 4.3.25 (firmware type: release2)

I am using PIA (Private Internet access) and it works without any issues on my phones and computer. LAN cable goes in the router and I connect it via LAN cable to my android box I use for IPTV.

When I go to wireguard configuration and start PIA it will give me a list of servers that are available and then I can not connect to certain servers in the list and it will report following error when I try: Range error (end) Invalid value: Not in inclusive range 81..141: -1 , but it will connect to some of them. There is 161 listed servers in that list.

I have done a firmware reset but it didn’t help. Also tried logging out the logging back in, also didn’t help.

As a temporary solution I have loaded OpenVPN configuration and that works but it is very slow to the point its unusable.

On my other devices PIA works without issues.

I don’t have any other VPN offered in Mango’s automatic wireguard configurations to test if this is only PIA related issue. This happened a couple of months ago and after a couple of days of OpenVPN when I switched back to Wireguard it just disappeared on it’s own, but know it’s persistent and I can not do anything about it.

Hi

Thank you for your feedback.

Is this issue occurring within the mobile app?
If so, we have identified the cause and plan to fix it in a future update for mobile app.

Yes, it’s mobile app

Is there a browser configuration page? Would that work?

The current Mango firmware does not support adding PIA WireGuard configurations through the Admin Panel.

We have released a beta version of the mobile app to address this issue. You may try updating to this version:
