Mango V2 directly connected to router/modem is SLOW

Hey all -

I have the Mango V2 directly connected to my UPC Connect box (combo modem/router). From the Mango, my laptop is directly connected.

Even without using a VPN, my speed is much slower than if I was directly connected to my router. I expected a decrease but not over 2/3 since this is still a direct connection.

Am i missing a setting here? I’m reaching 50-70mbps but I should be able to hit 200+ (even my phone connected to a mullvad server 5000 miles away can hit 200mbps but Mango is showing 50).

But 300mbps isn’t gigabit?

He means that the Mango LAN port is not gigabit, its 100mbit max, with overhead it puts you somewhere in like 80mbit range max. Then depending on what VPN you are using, you would fall down to the speed you noticed. Mango is not very powerful either.
