Mango-v2: IoT devices keep disconnecting after firmware upgrade

Hello,
I've upgraded firmware from 3.216 to latest 4.3.25 a few days ago. Since then, my IoT devices keep disconnecting from wifi (I have a bunch of ESP8266 and Wio Terminal arround).

Is there anything I can do to identify the problem and hopefully solve it? Worst case, I'll downgrade the firmware - but it would be a shame.

Thanks a lot for any hint,

Antonio

  1. Disconnections may be caused by interference on the 2.4G WiFi band. In the 2.4G WiFi settings, set the channel to 1, 6, or 11, as these non - overlapping channels can help reduce interference. Set the bandwidth to 20MHz to further minimize interference.
  2. If adjusting the WiFi settings does not resolve the issue, consider downgrading the firmware to version 3.216 to check if normal operation is restored.

I can rule out interference: I've maintained the very same network parameters that worked flawlessly for years. Downgrading to 3.216 does indeed solve the issue: looks like something is not working as expected on v4.

I guess I'll keep it at v3, then.

Thanks anyway,

Antonio
