I seem to be missing the option in 4.7.2 to use my Marble as an extender for my main network?
The option is available on my Opal.
Perhaps surprisingly one of the best "Extender" mode experiences I have had with any GL.iNET product when used this version of the firmware on the Marble. Can still access router's admin panel when connected to router, allowing me to use extender's own SSID while allowing access to main router's network and has not yet broken GoodCloud binding. Have you done a clean install without keeping old settings?
