Just got a B3000 router. Trying to connect my router to another wifi via repeater for the multiwan function. The router can’t find any networks. I enabled via luci b mode. I also checked time and country for the interfaces. found this when trying to scan intefaces in the logs but not sure what issue is or how to resolve.
daemon.err gl-repeater[4046]: (gl-repeater.lua:317) /usr/local/lib/lua/5.3/eco/nl80211.lua:627: invalid ifname
I am running the 4.5.22 firmware.
Hi
Since the 4.5.22 firmware is based on the closed-source QSDK, Wi-Fi functions in LuCI may be incomplete.
Please use the Repeater feature in the GL.iNet web interface to connect to other Wi-Fi networks instead.
Also, based on your description, it seems the Wi-Fi operating mode has been set to 802.11b only. Could you confirm whether the main Wi-Fi network supports this mode?
Perhaps try resetting the device firmware to restore it to factory settings and see if that helps.
