Would be interesting to post the differences between Flint 3 and Flint 3e

From what you posted, it's exactly the same as Flint 3

By the look of it, the Flint 3 is tri-band, whereas the Flint 3e is only dual-band, not having a radio in the 6GHz band.

Yep + other chipset for WiFi

OpenWRT version is???

This gonna be a funny one :backhand_index_pointing_up:

The 3e looks like a nice option for those who will trade 6Ghz for better 5Ghz throughput (which is probably a lot of people!).

512MB Nand for Flint 3e vs 8GB for Flint 3 and minus the increasing 6GHz band doesnโ€™t seem futureproof for me.

โ€œFutureproofโ€ is such a stupid word and thought at the speed technology moves. Honestly, how long do you need a $100 device to be top spec? Seriously folks, get a grip.

I want a router with at least double 10gbps. Waiting with my flint 2 until thenโ€ฆ

i hope next version becomes OpenWrt friendlier :+1:, + more competing with the Flint 2 using a mediatek chip.

For me all this Flint 3 feels like a downgrade, the 3E even at its worst, the only good side of it is when you place this router purely for wifi then it is better only if so aslong the hw accerelation works.

I understand it is just a case of demand and supply for these chips and why they get choosen, but please prioritise mediatek

What do you mean by other chipset?

Yes and flint 2 thrown into the compare. I just recently bought the flint 2 over the flint 3 because of its substandard CPU / wireguard speeds.

Please some advice here. Planning to get a home Gl.iNet router. Currently using a Puli AX. Would a Flint 2 still be better than Flint 3. Thanks in advance for your advice.
