Meet Mudi 7 (GL-E5800) & Thanksgiving Giveaway

If one's travelling to Hong Kong in January, how likely is he going to be able to purchase Mudi7?

I've the Mudi v1&2, how does Mudi7 compare in terms of dimension and weight?

Why don't you make a replacement for USB150?
It's super handy and I prefer to carry USB150 over Mudi which is heavy like a brick.
I cannot find on the market competitor for USB150.

I'm afraid it's a bit difficult because of the hardware architecture.
But it doesn't rule out possible support.

It may be later, but expected to be within Q1.

The Mudi 7 will be a bit bigger, but not too heavy.

The DSDA is not supported, but DSDS.

SD/TF card does not support.

What third-party packages do you need to install that emmc is not enough?

It's close to the Slate AX, and a bit stronger, I mean WireGuard speed.

I think it may not support this USB-C to RJ-45 peripheral.

I honestly don't remember what it was originally with my Slate AX. but I guess we can probably use something like this with the side USB port? Amazon.com: SANDISK 512GB Extreme Fit USB-C Flash Drive - Up to 400MB/s Read speeds, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB Type-C - Plug-and-Stay Storage - Black - SDCZ530-512G-G46 : Electronics

Yes, we did design these functions on the screen, which will be more convenient to use.

Congratulations to whoever won on the 23rd.

Will you be responding to Ubiquiti?

The Mudi 7 obliterates that travel router

Yes. The cost will be higher.

Vanilla OpenWRT may not be supported.

It supported for mobile storage, tethering, etc.
But not support various USBC-RJ45 network adapter, wireless network adapter, etc.

I believe the Mudi 7 is absolutely an all-rounder.

What can a piece of paper-thin battery do, with such short battery life? And the WiFi 5? It sacrificed everything just to keep it slim — Completely pointless.

that's fine; that's all I need!

it's goofy, honestly. adding this to my pile of reasons I tell people “friends don't let friends buy UBNT” :stuck_out_tongue: I know people really like their management software but I would much rather have the built in freedom to use LuCi, etc. as needed. Mudi 7 is just a wildly more powerful device.

Will Glinet hit back with a roast video?

If the modem is Quectel, GL tend to marry it up with a Qualcomm Atheros CPU.

See Collie, Spitz, Puli, and the original Mudi.

The only exceptions to this is the Spitz AX and the Puli AX.

Now if it is a Qualcomm, it's probably an ipq5312.

Now the e5800 name suggests it is a BE5800 device, the only other device with this is the Netgear MR7400.
