Mesh Network with GL-X2000?

Hello,

Was wondering if it was possible to use the GL-X2000 in a mesh network. Like EasyMesh.

There is already a plugin preinstalled called kmod-emesh-sp and in LuCI there’s and option to select the 802.11s

But I am a total noob, and have no idea what to do. Was hoping someone had done it already and could guide me, or at least tell me it wasn’t doable.

Kinda bummed this router doesn’t support mesh out of the box. I was so sure it would, I admit I didn’t check before buying.

I found the answer.

There would’ve been a ‘Mesh Point’ listed here if it were supported. So sadly no.

Unfortunately, X2000 does not support Mesh network.
Currently, you may consider using 802.11k/v/r to achieve a mesh-like Wi-Fi roaming experience.
