It says “Tue Apr 23 11:28:10 2019 daemon.notice pppd[22524]: Modem hangup”, I think it is hardware issue.

do i need to reseat the module inside? by the way same issue i encounter using the stock firmware and the latest prerelease d firmware.

Does it ever work in Philippines?

Can you power off then power on again?

3g/4g never worked in thailand and in philippines. no issues using as repeater or lan cable

any update? my mifi is useless rightnow. :frowning:

I am in Thailand now and my MiFi just works fine.

I am not sure about your problem. If yours does not work, I suggest you just return.

What is the process to replace it?

By the way what is the compatible modules in the philippines/thailand

You need to contact your seller about this.

The modules with with south east Asia should include
EC25-E EC25-AU EC25-C
EP06-E

Thanks for the reply, looks like i have a wrong module.
Here’s are the bands used in Philippines:

Based on the specs on EC25-A , UMTS Band 5 is supported, philippine carries used this band for UMTS and LTE. It is possible to force the modem to use this band instead of auto? I would like to make it work while, I dont have the correct module ( EC25-E, etc’)

Why do you have EC25-A? This is for America.

I don’t think there is a good way to use that. Can you contact the guy you bought this and exchange the module?

actually I have two mifi purchased on your Amazon store in us. both has ec25-a

While if you purchase from US then it is for America.

Can you pls contact with cs@gl-inet.com via email, give your order ID. They team could exchange module for you. You may need to open the case and change it by yourself.

You can return the old modem or keep it (you need to pay).

I am using the mifi in the philippines. mine has the EP06-E modem with LTE bands specifically working well on Smart operator but have not tested yet with Globe operator.
