Mounting GL-RM1 inside the case

Has anyone done this or potentially have any recommendations?

I recently switched my main PC over to Arch however I keep my old Windows PC for playing games that may not work on Linux. Figured I'd set this up so that I could easily turn on/off that machine (once it's booted I can just view the desktop via Apollo). I had issues getting wake on LAN working on the mobo, seems there's some sort of power saving feature that disables the onboard Ethernet after it's off for a while and I can't disable it.

I saw the GL-RM1 and figured it'd be a great solution and would also let me access the bios if I needed to which is a plus, however it seems the intent is to mount it outside of the case, I wanted to mount it inside.

My first thought was I could just get one of these to run an Ethernet cable in, but later realized I'd also need to run the USB-C cable outside for the ATX board as well as an hdmi and the power cable, because it seems the power brick is 5A so I don't believe I'd be able to hook that up to the mobo for power on a USB header or something.

Sorry for this late reply.

Yes, you are correct. It cannot be powered in that way and you will have to connect the external power adapter to ensure it running well.

I ended up getting it mounted inside with a 2x3 velcro pad, ran all the cables through a removed pci cover.
