MT-6000 IPv6 Issues

Hello Community,

I have an MT6000 router and am with the internet provider PYUR (Germany) behind an ONT. IPv6 works perfectly with the German Fritz!Box, but I can't get the IPv6 configuration to work on the MT6000.

I receive a /56 PD, and my devices in the LAN also get an IPv6 address with a public prefix. However, I am unable to use any data traffic over IPv6.

Are you aware of any issues or technical details regarding what the MT6000 does differently compared to the Fritz!Box?

  1. Does the VPN client enable?
  2. What is the IPv6 mode? NAT6 or Passthrough?
  3. How about ping the modem IPv6 gateway or DNS in MT6000 SSH?
  4. On the LAN client device, how about ping the IPv6 of MT6000, the IPv6 or DNS of the modem?

Hi,

  1. I'm not using any VPN service.
  2. IPv6 native mode.
    3/4. It is possible to ping all IPv6 addresses from the client listed on the LAN and WAN6 interfaces.

Please try the passthrough mode.
