Hi
I've lurked in this forum for a few days etc. but can't find a solution to what I'm trying to do.
Quick version: I want to connect two Huawei E8372h 4G USB modems to the Brume 2. I can connect one (and this works even when using a USB hub) and it's recognised under "tethering" as eth2 (or whatever number) and it works. But when I plug in a second modem of the same make, or even the ZTE MF79U, it forgets the first and sets up the second.
Question: is it possible to have two of these type of modems connected using the GUI, if so how?
More details: I'm trying to use the Brume 2 in a Live Streaming setup and I'm aiming to use Speedify VPN plugin with the Brume 2 and OpenWRT. I need to modems so I can use Speedify to bond the connections. Each modem is a different carrier and I need a stable upload speed to stream.
I can and have used Speedify on my MacBook, but testing shows that using a second device separate from the laptop used to encode the video etc provides a faster connection. I could use a Raspberry Pi with the two modems and speedify on that, and that works well, it's just painful setup and configure before a live gig.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Stuart
