It is strange. However, I don’t have safevpn configuration file to test.

You can try to configure DNS settings(like 8.8.8.8), and see if it works.

@kyson-lok I have 8.8.8.8 and 9.9.9.9 as DNS already. I now wonder if the ISPs in question intercept these DNS requests to serve them ?! That would be terrible violation of their customers’ privacy!

You can enable DNS over TLS to avoid dns hijacking by ISP.
