I am currently having version 2.26 firmware. Trying to set up wisp repeater and the screen shows “connecting to internet” and it just sit there for ages. Cant connect no matter how many times I tried. Can you please advise?
2.26 is too old. Pls upgrade

Completed the upgrade, however both wisp and wds still cannot be connected to my home wifi. Honestly after the upgrade, the interface seems to be slower than before.
Do you have special characters in the SSID and password? e.g. space?
You can ssh to the router and check if everything is correct with your repeater. The file is /etc/config/wireless
I installed Openwrt from the device’s page on openwrt website and wifi client works perfectly (the “scan” functionality works on the interface)
The way I installed it is through the default LUCI interface (as an update).
And once installed it doesn’t have a default gl.inet interface only openwrt LUCI interface.
