Just brought my new MUDI 2 to Portugal and bought a MEO Data Sim, supposedly the leading provider here. After installing the sim and soft rebooting the modem it worked for a few minutes but then stopped. Checking the portal shows it connects briefly (see first screen shot) but then gets into a hung “connecting…” state (second screen shot). Any ideas?
Seems provider detects you by IMEI. Run this AT (NOT SSH) command:
AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEI"
Example:
AT+EGMR=1,7,"352395084327731"
You can generate new IMEI using this service (link)
In this manual showed how to enter AT commands, just replace command from manual with command that I provided above.
I recommend to change IMEI with TTL. Guide (Click on “Please check the sim card and device compatibility implication“)
