Hi,
I would like to know if the Mudi V2 supports the Quectel EM120K-GL module.
Thanks.
It should support EM120K
Thanks for your quick reply @ywp, and what about the module EM160R-GL. Sorry but i had to find information about my carrier and they took a few days to send it to me. I saw that 5G modules won't fit in the Mudi because of the size constraints but i can manage with a faster connection module that's not 5G.
The EM160R supports only PCIE mode, while the E750V2 does not
So using the EM160R on the E750V2 should not work
The X3000/xe3000 is a better choice
I did not understand where you saw the EM160R supports only PCIE mode, checking in Quectel's site I found this, please see the highlighted text: imgur-quectel
Both X3000/XE3000 are too expensive for my budget and usage.
I'm sorry, I misspoke
The EM160R comes in two sizes
One is the AP suffix, which supports only pcie mode
You can choose to purchase the AU suffix, which should support both usb and pcie modes
The E750's power supply should be able to drive this module
You can ask at the time of purchase
Great! Just to make sure, will it drive 2 additional antennas with it?
No problem in theory. Could you test it?
