MUDI7 SIM registration issue continues after FW 4.0 0804 release

Dear Bruce & Cathy,

I’ve not received a reply from you regarding SIM registration issues amongst other things so thought I’d start a new thread in case you missed my previous comments. I have spent 20+ hours trying to make my MUDI7 work and nothing I’ve tried including factory reset is successful. I updated firmware to 4.0804 and still my UK O2 & EE SIM cards take at least 15 minutes to register once device switched on or they fail to register altogether. I find this unnaceptable for such an expensive device and feel like your early adopter customers are being used as free testing for issues that should have been solved before the device went to market. Can you help, please? I use this device for business and the constant problems - especially SIM registration failure is affecting my ability to work on location. My colleagues who also purchased MUDI7 are not experiencing the same issues I am. We have cross referenced different SIM cards and the common denominator is my device. I have used MI-FI/ travel routers for many years so I’m not a newbie. Kindly run a remote access diagnostic on my device as requested last week or allow me to return the MUDI7 for a full refund or replacement by 04 June as I require a travel router for work in Spain on 05 June. I look forward to your reply.

I am having similar issues with my brand new Mudi 7 using UK EE Sim. Sometimes it registers and works. Sometimes it fails to register and I have to keep trying. When connected, it regularly reports a good signal but I lose internet access - but ping works when this happens although good cloud reports it as offline! It’s very frustrating

I updated to the new FW 4.0 0805 released today 03 June. My EE & O2 SIM cards are now registering and working as expected (at home). I have yet to test it out in real world. Has anyone else had success with today’s firmware 0805 update?

V4.8.5 for Mudi 7 is available for Mudi 7. Could you upgrade your device to try? I suggest upgrading without keeping settings
