Multicast Help

Hi I have a GL-MT6000.

I'm trying to get some IP cameras to work via multicast.

Is there anything I need to enable in the router before hand?

I think multicast at the LAN side is not blocked by default. But you can test it and see.

Is there a program I can test with?

I've tried to get the cameras working but don't load..

I did not test it but it looks a helpful tool to try:

Connect two machines (the same way you connect camera) to the network and run the tool to test.

If the test fails then check the firewall rules in LuCi as they might be blocking multicast traffic
