Need help getting setup for remote work

I have two of the GL-AXT 1800 (slate) routers. My friend has two of the mangos setup to allow him to work remote as if he's still back in the states. He has one mango with him and one behind his friends AT&T main router at their house. He's able to connect and exit the internet as if he's still stateside. He says no software is needed he just plugs into the router and it's instant net

Is there a good tutorial somewhere on how to replicate this? Does anyone have a walkthrough ? I'm not necessarily needing to access files at home - just need it to appear as if I'm sitting at my home for when I travel.

No.

It might work in many places, but not all. As soon as the internet connection is monitored by security appliances, it might not work. The "one fits all" option doesn't exist, unfortunately.

Tailscale could be a better solution. But all in all you will need to figure out the possibilities each time you travel ...
