Hi,

The OpenWrt package repositories we checked, it looks like the kmod-inet-diag package is not provided in the OpenWrt 21.02 package feed.

This package is available in newer OpenWrt branches, for example in the OpenWrt 22.03.0 kmods repository.

Therefore, if you need to use the komd-inet-diag on the XE3000, you may need to consider using vanilla OpenWrt.

The current firmware is based on OpenWrt 21. Have you considered migrating to a newer release, such as OpenWrt 23.05 or 24.10? OpenWrt 21 has not received patches or active maintenance for quite some time.

As far as I know, official support for the MT7981 (Filogic) platform was introduced in OpenWrt 23.05, and OpenWrt 24.10 provides much more complete support, including support for a large number of MT7981-based devices.

I believe it would be relatively straightforward for GL.iNet to migrate the XE3000 firmware to a GL.iNet system based on OpenWrt 24.10. Would you consider adding this to your development roadmap? I think it would greatly improve long-term maintainability, security, and hardware support.
