Need Tips for Setting Up Brume 2 as Home Server

Hey everyone,

I’m diving into the world of Gl.iNet routers, and I could use a bit of guidance, please. I recently got my hands on the Brume 2 GL-MT2500, and my plan is to set it up as a home server while keeping my MT-3000 as a travel router.

Here’s the thing: I started with the MT-3000 setup a few weeks ago, and now I’m trying to locate the Brume 2 on my network or admin page, but only the MT-3000 seems to appear. So, I’m wondering if I need to uninstall the Beryl and then restart the whole process with the Brume 2. Also, I’ve got the basics down, like needing a public IP address and setting up DDNS, but I’m a bit lost…

I’m trying to figure this out step by step. So, if anyone could lend a hand, I’d be super grateful! Your tips and insights would be a big help!

Thanks, guys!

Hi, thanks for sharing this, I’m mostly trying to get a better understanding on how to set up the Brume 2 and then transfer the DDNS (home IP) to my MT-3000 when I’ll be abroad for a few weeks.

If there’s any additional tips and advices, please let me know. I have been trying trying to solve this issue for the past few days…
