I have 2 beryl setup. One running wireguard server connected to my cox router. i have port forwarding rules setup on router.

The second beryl is travelling with me and it was working fine for almost 1+ year. Today suddenly it stopped working. I can start the client

It gives this message on the router admin page

Server Listen Port

But i get no internet.

Here is the log :

I switched to using NORDVPN but i am afraid my employer might find out sooner or later.
Please help.

Also i tried changing MTU to 1280 on my travel router but that didnt help.

Hey man were you able to get this fixed, I also have this issue, it started this morning

changed the wireguard config DNS

DNS = 8.8.8.8

That seems to work. I had DNS = 64.6.64.6 before. Would still like to know why internet went down

First, confirm the VPN configuration files of the VPN server at home and the client you carry. There may be a mismatch due to network changes (public IP changes, DDNS resolution failure).

Change the network of the Beryl you carry to eliminate network restrictions on ports/VPN traffic.

Please try to perform a ping test using the Beryl you carry,
a. To your DDNS domain name ( ping XXX.glddns.com): If it times out, it should be DDNS failure or public IP problem
b. To other public DNS (ping 8.8.8.8): If it is normal, but WireGuard has no network, you should check the WireGuard configuration and firewall rules
c. ping 10.0.0.1 (This is an assumption, which needs to be replaced with the actual server virtual IP)

8.8.8.8: Google public DNS, with many nodes deployed globally.

64.6.64.6: Quad9 DNS, with less extensive resolution nodes than Google DNS.

Quad9's "security filtering" may misjudge VPN-related domain names/IPs as "risky content" and actively intercept resolution requests; or your network environment has restrictions on Quad9 DNS, resulting in resolution timeouts.

Google DNS has many nodes and strong compatibility, so it is easier to bypass such restrictions in complex network environments and ensure successful resolution.

did that help you JFalcon ?
