Frequency time graph of signals with a divider - 50 dB
The strongest signal from my phone 2.52-2.54 and my 13th channel router 20 MHz. The router and phone are a meter from the device, other signals from neighbors and they are weaker by only 10 dB... Horror
To the obtained values you need to add + 50 dB
The selectivity of wi-fi receivers is very poor, the same as SDR receivers.
Any strong signal nearby blocks the receiver.
Powerful signals block my device, so I installed a divider - 50 dB
When I installed the divider -50db, the noise floor dropped to -105 dB
Some powerful radio frequency signals are blocking my meter.
I wrote this for those who do not understand why Wi-Fi does not work far away. Although with a power of 0.3 watts it can work at decent distances.
Due to radio interference, the quality drops with an ideal signal almost at maximum.
Direct visibility, maximum signal, narrowly focused powerful antenna, 700 meters to the tower, but no packet quality
Is there a bad antenna?
Lock Onto That Cell Tower - GL.iNet.
I found the answer myself)
Signals from neighboring towers interfere

A-B,A-C- Distance in meters to the cell tower
A-It's me
B-Cell Tower 1
C-Cell Tower 2
I can see both cell towers with my eyes. That is, there are no obstacles in the signal path, direct physical visibility of the tower antennas
I receive a signal from two cell towers at the same time on the same frequency, the signals interfere with each other and this is reflected in the low quality of the packets.
In this case, it is better to use a narrow-beam antenna, which will weaken the signals of other cell towers. The best option is to use a parabolic on the roof of the house. Then both the speed and signal quality will be good.
My maximum router result is 774 Mbps
