We are very sorry, we also found this problem, we didn't have time to fix it due to time, please give us some time, it will be solved in the next version.
It is more than the port being properly shielded. The USB device itself can also be very noisy and cause issues. Many routers STILL have this option to try to prevent interference by dropping USB 3 to USB 2 speeds.
hi,
Sorry for not understanding " superior https (premium account - resolver)".
Sorry, we don't quite understand your question. Could you elaborate on " superior https (premium account - resolver)"? Could you please take a screenshot to explain this problem?
We will support it in the open source firmware of Flint2/Beryl AX after the v4.7.0 version stabilizes, which is v4.7.0-op24. Please give us some time, thank you.
Thank you for your feedback, we have optimized the expression here and will improve it in the next version.
So basically DNS over HTTPS doesn’t work when selecting ControldD premium resolver as per screenshot. Resolvers only work if you have a paid account in case you were not aware. DNS over TLS is fine, but HTTPS does not work in this firmware. Is this just broken or not been added yet?
Thanks
I cannot test on Beryl AX because i am on op24 and i don't like to change just for beta testing.
I found this in the feature-list:
[...] * Optimized Repeater randomized MAC Settings to automatically update the Repeater MAC at timing and restart.[...].
Will the MAC update be global or based on SSID? Love to have it based on SSID because there are still many public networks that allow 1h/2h online time. At the moment I'm doing that with a script, but having it in the UI would be cool.
At present 4.7 beta version, only DNS over TLS has control D DNS, and DNS over HTTPS has not added this yet.
Yes, the repeater MAC update is based on SSID.
Is it possible to add something like custom time in minutes?
Can we get current speed thruput stat somewhere. Upload and dowload thru wan.
New firmware is really good, especially the USB2-3 switch function very useful. Btw how can I make the switch effective immediately without rebooting? what services should I restart?
About DNS, in either "encrypted" or "manual" DNS, we can only choose servers from a list. Can you add a blank field where we can add our own DNS servers? very useful for custom ones. DNS Server 1 is also locked in manual
Also there's a typo in the USB2-USB3 selection, the popup window indicates reversed 2-3 numbers. When I click USB3 asks me if I want to switch to USB2, while the function is correct.
Does this include newer drivers for the 2.5Gb ports? My WAN connection keeps dropping when I use them. LAN ports are fine though.

When will vpn for ipv6 be setup?
Are you asking about the Repeater Random MAC Timing feature? Currently, this feature allows you to customise the time in days, not minutes.
Considering that restart cycles are usually not too short, we didn't consider using minute units, may I ask what is the reason for needing to use minute units on your side?
Switching USB2.0 to USB3.0 is without rebooting the device, you just need to re-plug USB and reload the USB device, it will take effect immediately.
Thank you for your feedback, this interface display error we also found and fixed in the next version.
In addition, adding custom DNS server we have plans to develop, the current version does not support it for the time being, please stay tuned.
Sorry, our routers don't support this feature yet, we plan to develop it in the future, stay tuned.
VPN support for ipv6 we already have plans to develop it, please give us some time.
Do you have any other cables to try it out? Driver for the 2.5Gb ports has not updated.
