Newbie: Setting up MT300A as a OpenVPN proxy router?

hi,

so far got openvpn connecting nicely, upgraded to latest firware version 2.24.

can’t suss how to route all traffic via openvpn connection, basically want to use as a router on my network to allow me to make various machines route via vpn service to allow anonymous access to internet. quite a common requirement i would think…

ideally a nice easy to follow step by step idiot guide would be fantastic, this will mean i can setup and start to understand fundamentals.

help most appreciated!!

I am not sure about your questions. You said it “connecting nicely”, does it mean it displays connected successfully but no internet connection?

Which service provider are you using?

hi,

the openvpn is connecting correctly, i’m connecting to airvpn.

my issue is getting traffic on the lan side (192.168.1.193) to route out only via openvpn connection.

i’d like to be able to put machines behind the mt300a so they route through it and out via the airvpn connection…

If it works, it should route all the traffic from the LAN side to the openvpn. If not, you will not have Internet connection, right?
