No 5G on ATT Spitz AX

Got the $20 ATT tablet plan with IMEI repaired to a 5G tablet (Same one ATT has on file), but NRBROADBAND APN still only connects to 4G.

When I first set it up in the morning I saw 5G. Unplugged it and setup later its only showing 4G now. Both broadband and NR APNs work. I was under the impression that if NRBROADBAND doesn’t work, the sim isn’t provisioned for 5G?

Please try the following troubleshooting steps to see if it helps:

  1. navigate to the admin panel ->NETWORK ->Multi-WAN, edit cellular settings and set detect mode to normal mode to see if it will connect to 5G
  2. if #1 doesn't help, please upgrade the modem firmware to RM520NGLAAR03A04M4G_01.202.01.202.zip to try. Here is the tutorial on how to upgrade modem module for X3000.
